NEWS:  On June 25, 2009, Jeremy Irons interviewed director Nicolas Hytner at the National Theatre of London before a live broadcast of Racine's Phedre which stars Helen Mirren.

June 19, 2009:  AWARD UPDATE:  Jeremy Irons will be accepting an Actor's Mission Award at the Art Film Festival in Slovakia on Saturday, June 20, 2009.  According to the press release, Jeremy will be spending the weekend at the film festival in Slovakia.

June 9, 2009:   JEREMY IRONS PHOTOS:  Jeremy Irons attended the after party of press night of The Winter's Tale and The Cherry Orchard with his wife Sinéad Cusack. The after party took place at The Buddha Bar in London.  Ethan Hawke, his wife Ryan Shawhughes, director Sam Mendes, Rebecca Hall, Kevin Spacey, Tom Stoppard, Alan Yentob and Josh Hamilton were also in attendance.  Typically we don't like to post watermarked photos, but because there were so few without watermarks available from this event, we've posted a few mixed in with some that we've paid for without watermarks.

DVD RELEASE:  Previously unreleased, Mathilde, a moving, beautiful and unconventional love story set in the war torn Balkans during the last days of the Croatian campaign, will be released on June 22, 2009 in the UK and is available through Amazon UK!  This DVD is Region 2 and will only play on European Region 2 or multi-region DVD players.
